2011 Elite Exposure Workout Day
Took Place on Tuesday, 19 December 2011

The Elite Exposure Workout Day allows coaches to test players in areas of athletic abilities that are relevant to their basketball performance. All this in addition to the basketball competition (5 on 5, 3 on 3), skill training and recruiting education on what is needed to pursue a basketball scholarship in the US. At the Elite Exposure Workout Day we will be testing in three main areas: vertical jump, quickness and overall athleticism. In addition we provide players with highlights from the day which can be used in ggenerating exposure for themselves to potential colleges and prep schools who may not be in attendance.

With so many players in the UK trying to take their basketball overseas we at UK Elite put on a new event the "Elite Exposure Workout. The idea of this program is to give our players the chance to workout infront of US college coaches in a bid to possibly secure a college sponsorhsip.

The workout day was split into 2 parts, part 1 consisted of training sessions where players had the opportunity to show off the follwoing:

SPEED

JUMPING ABILITY

SHOOTING

DRIBBLING

PASSING

POSTING UP/ MOVES TO THE BASKET

In the second half of the day players were given the opportunity to play in game situations to showcase there basketball skills and basketball IQ. In attendance on the day was US colleges Iowa Central and Willingston State. The 2 colleges were very impressed with the players on show and loved the intensity and level of basketball which was on show.

The great thing about this event is that it also allows one on one time with coaches to workout any players that maybe interested in offering a scholarship to. This way both the players and the coaches get a full sense of what each other is about. This also allows constructive criticism to be given to playersto help improve their individual games.
